What an amazing group of performers: Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean, Shakira and her son, Alexandre Pires, Ivete Sangalo, and Carlinhos Brown rocked the stage on Sunday before the Germany v Argentina match.

Shakira beamed with happiness as she watched her son come on stage after her performance at the Final. Her adorable little boy was dressed in a charming green and white striped top, and he was all smiles as he joined his mom following a quick trip to see his dad, Spanish defender Gerard Pique. The 37-year-old singer and Pique first met while she was promoting her 2010 World Cup hit, Waka Waka – Time for Africa. Looking forward to the closing ceremony concert on Sunday, Shakira expressed her appreciation by saying, “I will always remember the special moment of meeting the love of my life at the World Cup.”

Wyclef and Ivete are absolutely taken with the little boy, they just can’t seem to get their fill of spending time with him.

Feeling a bit tired? Milan seemed a little worn out despite the lively atmosphere surrounding him as his mother gently held him in her arms.

Talking about her history with soccer, she shared, “I have a complicated relationship with football for obvious reasons, and I really understand the importance of the World Cup for so many people, including myself.”

For the big finale, Shakira brought in Zumba founder Beto to help her out, and they practiced together at Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro to choreograph her performance.

The Colombian duo first worked together in Bogotá in the mid-1990s on Shakira’s breakthrough album Pies Descalzos.

Beto, the creative force behind Zumba, was bursting with enthusiasm as he shared about his latest collaboration with Shakira to develop dynamic dance routines. From Zumba’s base in Miami, Beto couldn’t contain his excitement as he reflected on the incredible opportunity to work alongside the legendary singer. Grateful and elated, he described the experience as a dream come true to partner with such a remarkable and influential artist on this project.

The attire matched the lively vibe of the Carnival in Brazil flawlessly. Among the spectators enjoying the main event were David Beckham and his children Brooklyn and Romeo, all rocking Argentina jerseys. They were seated next to Brazilian icons Kaka and Pele, with David kindly taking pictures with enthusiastic fans before the match got underway. The star-studded lineup of performers included Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean, Alexandre Pires, Ivete Sangalo, and Carlinhos Brown adding to the excitement of the event.
