The story is about a determined dog named Pumpkin who is on a mission to help other animals with special needs lead active and fulfilling lives. The dog was found by rescuers when she was only a few weeks old in Lincoln, England. She had a broken spine and two broken back legs, which left her paralyzed from the waist down. Although veterinarians suspected that her injuries were caused by animal cruelty, they were unsure if Pumpkin would ever walk again.

Despite the odds, Pumpkin made a remarkable recovery and was adopted by a loving family. They gifted her a Walkin’ Wheels pet wheelchair from the pet mobility company Walkin’ Pets, which she quickly adapted to and began using to move around. Today, Pumpkin is an energetic and happy one-year-old dog who does not allow her disability to hold her back. Her owner, Tammie Fox, describes her as a determined pup who brings happiness and adventure wherever she goes.
